Dr Christine Burdeniuk

Women’s Heart Program / Clinical Cardiology

Dr Christine Burdeniuk​ trained at Flinders University after completion of a Bachelor of Science at the University of Adelaide. She completed her cardiology training in 2007 and has completed advanced training in Heart failure.

Dr Burdeniuk completed her advanced training at the Heart Transplant Unit at The Alfred Hospital in Melbourne and has experience in the management of complicated heart failure and heart transplantation. Dr Christine Burdeniuk runs the Women‟s Heart Program and supports the HVI Heart Failure and transplant services program.

Her main interests are in the prevention and early detection of Heart Failure and bring a new focus of prevention to heart failure and women‟s health.

She is also interested in providing care to this group of patients throughout the state and visits Mt Gambier in the South East to facilitate the provision of cardiac services throughout rural centres.
